CODDROBERT YOUR FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL Remembering I saw him when he first learned to walk, The words that we alone made out when you began to talk. That precious time has passed so quickly my son, Now it's time for you to start school. Walking together holding hands so tightly with a little squeeze here and there, I'm sure he's gonna cry, If only he knew there was a tear in my eye. I find it hard to turn myself away and wonder if he'll manage thro' the day. You're such a bright lad that's nobody's fool, I'm sure you'll do well at your new school.
